Job summary

VisionWorks is seeking an Optical Supervisor/Assistant Manager in Maryland to lead store operations and coach a team toward delivering an exceptional patient and customer journey. You will supervise the store in the General Manager's absence and help achieve financial goals.

Role requires 1-5 years of supervisory experience and a HS Diploma or GED. Compensation includes a pay range of $17.26–$22.87 per hour with benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma, GED or equivalent experience required.
• 1-5 years of supervisory experience required.

Responsibilities

• Promote store profitability and achieve sales targets by leading self and team to daily, weekly, and monthly goals.
• Model and engage in all steps of the Patient/Customer journey; supervise exam lane and sales floor activities.
• Support GM in managing appointments, eyewear services, and ensuring patient/customer needs are met.
• Coach, motivate, and develop associates to deliver a flawless patient/customer experience.
• Execute operational activities to meet store financial and customer experience goals.
