Job summary

Visionworks Laurel, MD is seeking an Optical Supervisor/Assistant Manager to lead the store in the absence of the General Manager and to coach associates for a flawless patient and customer journey. You will help drive profitability by meeting daily, weekly, and monthly targets and by coordinating appointments and services with the GM.

Qualifications

• 1-5 years of supervisory experience.
• HS Diploma, GED or equivalent experience required.

Responsibilities

• Promote the store’s profitability and achieve sales goals by meeting targets.
• Lead the patient/customer journey and supervise exam lane and sales floor.
• Coordinate doctor appointments, eyewear services, and customer needs with the GM.
• Coach and motivate associates to deliver excellent patient and customer experiences.
• Resolve obstacles in the patient/customer journey in partnership with the GM.
• Execute operational activities to meet store financial and customer experience goals.
