Job summary

Visionworks is seeking a charismatic Optical Supervisor/Assistant Manager to lead the store in the General Manager’s absence. You’ll drive profitability, coach staff, oversee doctor appointments, and ensure a seamless patient journey.

Responsibilities include coaching teams, maintaining service standards, and achieving sales goals while delivering a supportive, human, and bold patient experience. This role is full-time and on-site at our Sterling location.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma, GED or equivalent experience required.
• 1-5 years of supervisory experience required.

Responsibilities

• Promote the store’s profitability and targets by coaching the team to meet daily, weekly and monthly goals.
• Model and engage in all steps of the Patient/Customer journey on exam lane and sales floor and supervise associates.
• Support GM in managing incoming traffic, appointments, eyewear services, and patient needs.
• Coach and motivate associates to perform their roles with excellence for a flawless patient experience.
• Use sound judgment to remove obstacles and resolve issues in partnership with the General Manager.
• Execute operational activities to meet store financial and customer experience goals.
