Job summary

Visionworks of America, Inc. is seeking an Optical Supervisor/Assistant Manager to lead store operations and act as a key link to the General Manager. You will motivate staff, drive sales, and ensure a welcoming, high-quality patient experience in a fast-paced retail environment.

As a full-time supervisor, you’ll oversee daily store performance, coordinate appointments, coach associates, and uphold Visionworks standards of service. Competitive pay and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma, GED or equivalent experience.
• 1-5 years of supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Promote the store’s profitability and achieve sales goals by holding self and team accountable to daily, weekly, and monthly targets.
• Role model and engage in all steps of the Patient/Customer journey, supervise and redirect associates in exam lane and sales floor.
• Support GM in managing incoming traffic by coordinating doctor appointments, eyewear services, and ensuring patient/customer needs are met.
• Coach, motivate, and support associates to perform in their roles with excellence for a flawless patient/customer experience.
• Use sound judgment to remove obstacles and resolve issues in partnership with the General Manager.
• Execute all broad operational activities to meet store financial and customer experience goals.
