Job summary

EssilorLuxottica in Kent, WA is seeking a Customer Service Representative (Order Clerk) to build and maintain customer and vendor relationships. You will manage requests for quotations, stock orders, returns and purchase orders, and coordinate with other departments to provide superior service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience
• 1+ year(s) of experience in customer service, hospitality or call center environment
• Excellent telephone etiquette and ability to maintain composure with difficult customers
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Good organizational skills, attention to detail and numerical accuracy
• Basic PC skills including MS Office; Word and Excel
• Ability to lift/move up to 40 pounds

Responsibilities

• Receive requests for price quotations, orders, order changes, adjustments, and cancellations from customers and labs
• Build rapport with customers and provide the best possible service
• Handle returns of lenses, frames, and accessories and generate documentation for product return
• Assist in assembling and packaging for monthly auto-kit mailings and manage customer lists
• Use a PC to retrieve customer and stock information and update orders
• Coordinate with vendors on orders, status, and delivery information
• Troubleshoot problems and communicate company policies and promotions
• Distribute mail and back up department computer tasks as assigned
• Cross-train and learn other duties within the department
• Maintain a neat, organized work area and comply with attendance and safety rules
