Job summary

Southside Community Health Services (SCHS) in Minneapolis, MN seeks a bilingual Patient Care Representative - Vision to ensure smooth patient flow and exceptional service in a fast-paced optical/vision clinic.

You will register patients in the EMR, verify insurance, collect payments, and provide frontline support to patients and staff while maintaining HIPAA compliance and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Bilingual English/Spanish required.
• Experience in scheduling clinical appointments preferred.
• Epic software experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and confirm appointments for patients.
• Register patients in the EMR using thorough interview techniques.
• Verify insurance information and assist with billing questions.
• Handle cash collections at time of service.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality.
• Greet patients and assist with registration forms.
