Job summary

LensCrafters in Hayward, CA is seeking a Part-Time EyeCare Advisor to deliver the LensCrafters Experience and ensure high-quality optometric care alongside retail operations. You will greet customers, explain paperwork and tests, and support both the doctor and retail teams to meet service and sales goals.

The role emphasizes patient interaction, product knowledge, cash handling, and accurate paperwork within HIPAA guidelines. Previous customer service or retail experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Greets customers promptly and guides them through the store.
• Answers the telephone promptly and courteously.
• Explains all required paperwork, tests, products and services.
• Reviews prescriptions and patient information carefully and consults when needed.
• Maintains neat, organized patient records in line with HIPAA.
• Operates the POS system accurately and handles payments securely.
• Explains store promotions and delivery expectations.
• Keeps store displays visually appealing and up-to-date.
• Supports doctor and retail teams to deliver quality eye care.
