Job summary

LensCrafters is seeking an EyeCare Advisor who delivers the LensCrafters Experience by guiding customers through eyewear selections and coordinating care with the optometrist. You will greet customers, explain tests and products, and ensure accurate records and secure transactions.

The role emphasizes service, product knowledge, HIPAA-compliant handling of patient information, and collaboration with clinical staff to support patient care and store performance.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong customer service and communication skills essential.
• Ability to describe features/benefits of lenses and frames.
• Familiarity with cash registers, computers and calculators.
• Sales skills and math skills helpful for transactions.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly and courteously.
• Answer the telephone within 3 rings.
• Explain all paperwork, tests, products and services.
• Review prescriptions and patient information with care and consult with Optician/Management when needed.
• Assist customers in selecting frames/lenses based on vision, lifestyle, and budget.
• Perform pre-exam testing and explain measurements to patients.
• Maintain and disinfect contact lens inventory; assist the Optometrist as needed.
• Operate POS with accuracy and follow security procedures.
