Job summary

LensCrafters in the United States is seeking an EyeCare Advisor to deliver the LensCrafters Experience and ensure patients receive high-quality Optometric care, while unifying doctor and retail operations for a smooth patient journey.

The role emphasizes strong customer service, product knowledge of lenses and frames, pre-exam testing, HIPAA compliance, and collaboration with the Optometrist and store team. Training included; benefits may include bonus and employee discounts.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Strong customer service skills (internal and external).
• Knowledge of current fashion trends.
• Strong communicator and listener.
• Problem solving ability.
• Familiarity with cash register, computers and calculators.
• Sales skills.
• Strong basic math skills.
• Knowledge of office and store merchandise.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly (within 30 seconds).
• Answer the telephone promptly (3 rings) in a friendly manner.
• Explain required paperwork, tests, products and services.
• Review prescriptions and patient information; consult with Optician/Management when needed.
• Assist customers in selecting frames and lenses.
• Perform pre-examination testing with accuracy and explain measurements.
• Maintain and disinfect contact lens inventory; support Optometrist as needed.
• Operate POS system for payments with accuracy and security.
