Job summary

LensCrafters is seeking an EyeCare Advisor to deliver the LensCrafters Experience and ensure highest quality optometric care. You will greet customers, guide them through tests and paperwork, and support the doctor and retail teams to meet store KPIs.

Responsibilities include assisting with frame selections, handling POS transactions, and maintaining patient records with HIPAA compliance. Strong fashion sense and customer service skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Strong customer service skills (internal and external).
• Knowledge of current fashion trends.
• Strong communicator and listener.
• Problem solving ability.
• Familiarity with cash register, computers and calculators.
• Sales skills.
• Strong basic math skills.
• Knowledge of office and store merchandise.

Responsibilities

• Greets customers within 30 seconds.
• Answers the phone within 3 rings in a friendly manner.
• Explains required paperwork, tests, products and services.
• Reviews prescriptions and patient information for accuracy.
• Identifies special needs and consults with Optician/Management when necessary.
• Operates the POS system and handles payments accurately.
• Maintains HIPAA-compliant patient records.
• Assists with frame and lens selection and product knowledge.
• Coach patients on contact lens care and pre-exam testing.
