Visionworks of America, Inc. in Lafayette, IN is seeking an OD Coordinator to be the face of our Exam Practice and ensure every patient journey is simple, human, and bold. You will assist with training and scheduling OD Techs, know eye health basics, and guide patients from exam to the sales floor.

Qualifications

• Related customer or patient experience preferred, but not necessary.
• HS diploma, GED or equivalent related job experience.
• Licensed OD Techs will have/maintain a State Opticians License.

Responsibilities

• Maintain complete and accurate patient records before conducing preliminary testing.
• Introduce patient to OD and provide OD with important patient information.
• Transition patient from doctor to sales floor and educate on products and services.
• Execute day-to-day operational activities to support the store's exam lane.
• Count the Optometrist’s daily revenue and prepare for deposit.
• Prepare Technician work schedules to meet demand.
