Job summary

Visionworks is seeking an OD Coordinator in Indiana to be the face of our Exam Practice. You will assist with the training and scheduling of OD Techs, guiding patients through the Visionworks experience and ensuring eye exam needs are met in a simple, human and bold way.

Responsibilities include maintaining patient records, introducing patients to the OD, coordinating with the sales floor, supporting exam-lane operations, restocking inventory, preparing schedules, and handling daily revenue

Qualifications

• Customer or patient experience is preferred.
• HS diploma or GED required.
• Licensed OD Techs will have/maintain a State Opticians License.

Responsibilities

• Maintain complete and accurate patient records before preliminary testing.
• Introduce patient to OD and provide OD with important patient information.
• Transition patient from doctor to sales floor and educate on products/services.
• Support exam-lane operations including restocking inventory, cleaning equipment, and answering phones.
• Count the Optometrist’s daily revenue and prepare deposits.
• Prepare Technician work schedules to meet demand.
