Job summary

Visionworks is hiring a Part Time OD Tech/Optometric Assistant to be the face of our Exam Practice, guiding patients through preliminary testing and the eye care journey. You will connect patients with the OD, share essential information, and help transition them from exam to sales.

Qualifications

• Customer or patient experience preferred
• HS diploma, GED or equivalent required or related job experience

Responsibilities

• Maintain complete and accurate patient records before conducing preliminary testing
• Introduce patient to OD and provide OD with important patient information
• Transition patient from doctor to sales floor and educate on products/services
• Support exam lane maintenance and patient experience goals (restocking inventory, cleaning equipment, answering phones)
• Open/close the store/office to support business as needed
