Job summary

LensCrafters in Crestview Hills, KY, is hiring an EyeCare Advisor to deliver the LensCrafters Experience and ensure top-quality patient care. You will link the doctor and retail functions, greet customers, handle paperwork, and support pre-exam testing with attention to detail.

You will assist with frame and lens selection, explain products, manage contact lens care, and maintain accurate records and POS transactions. Join a team focused on service, accuracy, and patient satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Strong customer service skills (internal and external).
• Knowledge of current fashion trends.
• Strong communicator and listener.
• Problem solving ability.
• Familiarity with cash register, computers and calculators.
• Sales skills.
• Strong basic math skills.
• Knowledge of office and store merchandise.

Responsibilities

• Greets customers without delay (within 30 seconds).
• Promptly answers the telephone (3 rings) in a friendly and courteous manner.
• Explains all required paperwork, tests, products and services.
• Reviews prescriptions and patient information for accuracy and special needs.
• Shows patience and courtesy to indecisive customers.
• Performs work accurately under time pressure and high volume.
• Identifies unsatisfied customers and acts quickly to resolve.
• Operates appointment book and computer systems with proficiency.
• Handles and files patient records per HIPAA requirements.
• Places contact lens orders and processes shipments.
• Operates the POS system with accuracy and proper payments.
• Explains One Hour processing and delivery times.
• Maintains store appearance per company guidelines.
• Maintains a safe working environment for all.
• Adapts to promotions and communicates changes to staff.
