Job summary

LensCrafters in Columbus is seeking an EyeCare Advisor to deliver the LensCrafters Experience and ensure patients receive the highest quality optometric care. You will greet customers, explain tests and paperwork, and coordinate with the Optometrist and retail teams to link doctor and store functions seamlessly.

Responsibilities include performing pre-examination tasks, coaching patients on contact lens care, maintaining HIPAA-compliant records, and handling POS transactions with accuracy.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Strong customer service skills (internal and external).
• Knowledge of current fashion trends.
• Strong communicator and listener.
• Problem solving ability.
• Familiarity with cash register, computers and calculators.
• Sales skills.
• Strong basic math skills.
• Knowledge of office and store merchandise.

Responsibilities

• Greets customers within 30 seconds.
• Answers the telephone promptly (3 rings).
• Explains all required paperwork, tests, products and services.
• Maintains HIPAA-compliant patient records.
• Places contact lens orders and processes shipments.
• Operates the POS system with accuracy and proper payment handling.
• Explains 'One Hour' processing and delivery times.
• Maintains store appearance per guidelines.
