Job summary

LensCrafters is seeking an EyeCare Advisor to deliver a high-quality patient experience and drive key store KPIs. You will greet customers, guide them through paperwork, tests and product choices, while coordinating with optometrists and retail management for seamless service.

Responsibilities include pre-exam testing, contact lens guidance, prescription reviews, and accurate POS transactions. A strong customer-first mindset and basic math skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Strong customer service skills (internal and external).
• Knowledge of current fashion trends.
• Strong communicator and listener.
• Problem solving ability.
• Familiarity with cash register, computers and calculators.
• Sales skills.
• Strong basic math skills.
• Knowledge of office and store merchandise.

Responsibilities

• Greets customers within 30 seconds.
• Answers the telephone promptly (3 rings).
• Explains all required paperwork, tests, products and services.
• Reviews prescriptions and patient information carefully.
• Identifies special needs and consults with Optician or Management when necessary.
• Demonstrates knowledge of appointment book and computer procedures.
• Maintains patient records with HIPAA compliance.
• Operates POS system and processes payments securely.
• Explains ‘One Hour’ processing and delivery times.
• Keeps store displays aligned with guidelines.
• Maintains safe working environment.
• Responds to promotions with clear communication.
