Job summary

Visionworks is seeking a friendly Clinical Specialist (CS)/Optometric Assistant for our Philadelphia-area stores. This part-time role places you at the front line of the patient journey, handling preliminary testing, patient records, and customer service with a human and bold approach.

You'll introduce patients to the OD, support the transition from exam to sales, and assist with inventory and phone coverage to ensure a smooth eye care experience for every visitor.

Qualifications

• Related customer or patient experience preferred, but not necessary.
• HS diploma, GED or equivalent related job experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain complete and accurate patient records before conducing preliminary testing
• Introduce patient to OD and provide OD with important patient information
• Transition patient from doctor to sales floor and provide associates necessary information to educate and recommend products and services that meet their eye care needs
• Execute day-to-day operational activities to support the store's exam lane maintenance and patient experience goals including restocking inventory, cleaning equipment, and answering phones to meet additional patient needs
