Job summary

Visionworks in Philadelphia is seeking a part-time Clinical Specialist/Optometric Assistant to be the face of our Exam Practice, guiding patients with a friendly, human and bold approach through their eye exam journey. You will handle preliminary testing, maintain records, and coordinate with the OD.

Responsibilities include introductory steps to the OD, handing off patient information, and supporting the sales floor with product education, inventory, and phone inquiries to enhance the patient

Qualifications

• HS diploma, GED or equivalent related job experience.
• Related customer or patient experience preferred, but not necessary.

Responsibilities

• Maintain complete and accurate patient records before conducting preliminary testing.
• Introduce patient to OD and provide OD with important patient information.
• Transition patient from the doctor to the sales floor and provide associates necessary information to educate and recommend products and services that meet their eye care needs.
• Execute day-to-day operational activities to support the store's exam lane maintenance and patient experience goals including restocking inventory, cleaning equipment, and answering phones to meet additional patient needs.
