Job summary

Visionworks is seeking a friendly Clinical Specialist (CS)/Optometric Assistant to be the face of our Exam Practice and guide patients through their eye care journey.

This part-time role trains you in eye health, preliminary testing, optics, and our services, helping patients understand options and coordinate with the OD. Responsibilities include patient record keeping, introducing patients to the OD, and supporting store operations. Competitive benefits and employee discounts available.

Qualifications

• Related customer or patient experience preferred, but not necessary.
• HS diploma, GED or equivalent related job experience (required).

Responsibilities

• Maintain complete and accurate patient records before conducing preliminary testing.
• Introduce patient to OD and provide OD with important patient information.
• Transition patient from doctor to sales floor and provide associates necessary information to educate and recommend products and services that meet their eye care needs.
• Execute day-to-day operational activities to support the store's exam lane maintenance and patient experience goals including restocking inventory, cleaning equipment, and answering phones to meet additional patient needs.
