Job summary

Visionworks of America, Inc. is seeking an Optical Supervisor/Assistant Manager to lead store operations and staff in delivering a human and bold patient and customer journey. You will support the General Manager in achieving financial goals while coaching the team for excellent service and sales performance.

The role emphasizes floor leadership, accountability, and aligning daily activities with profitability and customer satisfaction in a retail optical environment.

Qualifications

• Requires HS Diploma, GED or equivalent experience.
• 1–5 years of supervisory experience.
• Strong leadership and coaching skills to drive store performance.

Responsibilities

• Promote store profitability and achieve sales targets daily, weekly, and monthly.
• Model the patient and customer journey and supervise staff in exam lane and sales floor.
• Assist in scheduling doctor appointments and eyewear services to meet patient needs.
• Coach and motivate associates to deliver excellent patient and customer experiences.
• Resolve obstacles in the patient/customer experience in partnership with the GM.
• Execute store operations to meet financial and customer experience goals.
