Job summary

EssilorLuxottica’s For Eyes is seeking an EyeCare Advisor to enhance the customer experience by delivering eye care and eyewear guidance in-store. You will greet customers, explain lens and frame options, and assist with routine tasks while maintaining accurate records and a welcoming environment.

The role emphasizes strong communication, sales abilities, and knowledge of fashion trends to tailor recommendations to individual customers and budgets.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent required.
• Strong customer service skills (internal and external).
• Knowledge of current fashion trends is preferred.
• Strong communicator and listener with good problem-solving ability.
• Familiarity with cash registers, computers and calculators.
• Sales skills and basic math proficiency.
• Knowledge of office and store merchandise.

Responsibilities

• Greets customers promptly (within 30 seconds).
• Answers the telephone promptly (3 rings) in a courteous manner.
• Explain paperwork, tests, products and services to patients in the Doctor's office.
• Review prescriptions carefully and coordinate with Optician/Management as needed.
• Assist customers in selecting frames and lenses suited to vision and budget.
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant patient records and store cleanliness.
