Job summary

Luxottica Group, operating LensCrafters, seeks an EyeCare Advisor to deliver exceptional customer experiences and support both retail and clinical tasks. You will greet customers, explain services, process transactions accurately, and assist with lens and frame selections to fit vision and lifestyle needs.

You will also help with basic pre-exam testing support, maintain patient records in a HIPAA-compliant manner, and stay informed on product and promotional changes.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Strong customer service skills (internal and external).
• Knowledge of fashion trends.
• Strong communicator and listener.
• Problem solving ability.
• Familiarity with cash register, computers and calculators.
• Organization skills.
• Sales skills.
• Strong basic math skills.
• Knowledge of office and store merchandise.

Responsibilities

• Greets customers within 30 seconds and maintains a friendly demeanor.
• Answers telephone promptly (3 rings) in a courteous manner.
• Explains paperwork, tests, products and services to customers.
• Review prescriptions and patient information carefully; consult with Optician or Management when needed.
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant handling of patient records and inventories.
• Operate POS for transactions, process payments and apply discounts.
• Explain product features, frames and lenses to meet customer needs.
• Support pre-examination testing and clinical guidance as needed.
