Job summary

EssilorLuxottica's Target Optical is seeking an Eyecare Advisor Member who delivers exceptional patient service and high-quality care. You will greet customers, explain products and paperwork, and assist patients with prescriptions in a fast-paced retail setting.

The role emphasizes strong communication, product knowledge, and accuracy in handling prescriptions, orders, and payments, while maintaining organized records and a welcoming store appearance.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate / GED or equivalent experience.
• Strong communicator and listener to customers and associates.
• Strong basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Strong interpersonal skills (friendly, caring, patient).
• Sales skills and knowledge of store merchandise.
• Familiarity with cash register, computers and calculators.

Responsibilities

• Greets customers without delay when they enter the location and provides prompt service.
• Explains products and services and guides customers through purchase decisions.
• Reviews prescriptions and patient information carefully and flags special needs.
• Maintains patient records and processes contact lens orders and shipments.
• Operates POS system and handles payments accurately.
• Keeps displays clean, organized, and up-to-date.
• Supports safety and regulatory compliance in store operations.
