Job summary

EssilorLuxottica’s For Eyes division is seeking an EyeCare Advisor in Florida to deliver the For Eyes Experience. You will greet customers, explain exams, eyewear products, and services while supporting the Doctor and Store Manager to meet KPIs.

You will review prescriptions, handle patient records per HIPAA, and assist in frame and lens selections. Experience in retail/optical, great communication, and math skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Strong customer service skills (internal and external).
• Knowledge of current fashion trends.
• Strong communicator and listener.
• Problem solving ability.
• Familiarity with cash register, computers and calculators.
• Sales skills.
• Strong basic math skills.
• Knowledge of office and store merchandise.

Responsibilities

• Greets customers promptly and courteously.
• Answers the telephone quickly (3 rings) in a friendly manner.
• Explains all paperwork, tests, products and services to patients.
• Reviews prescriptions and patient information carefully; consults with Optician or Management when needed.
• Identifies and resolves customer issues with patience and courtesy.
• Maintains accurate records and HIPAA compliance.
• Places contact lens orders and processes shipments; submits invoices.
• Operates the POS system with accuracy and data entry.
• Maintains store appearance per company guidelines and ensures visual displays are up to standards.
• Maintains a safe working environment for all staff and patients.
• Adapts to store promotions with effective communications and materials.
• Demonstrates product knowledge of lenses and frames; assists customers in selection.
