Job summary

LensCrafters is seeking an EyeCare Advisor in Orlando to deliver the LensCrafters Experience and ensure high-quality optometric care in a retail setting. You will greet customers, explain tests and paperwork, review prescriptions, and coordinate with the Optician and Doctor to meet patient needs.

The role combines retail and clinical support, requiring exceptional customer service, strong communication, and meticulous attention to detail.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent
• Strong customer service skills (internal and external)
• Knowledge of current fashion trends
• Strong communicator and listener
• Problem solving ability
• Familiarity with cash register, computers and calculators
• Organization skills
• Sales skills
• Strong basic math skills
• Knowledge of office and store merchandise

Responsibilities

• Greet customers within 30 seconds.
• Answer the telephone promptly (3 rings).
• Explain all required paperwork, tests, products and services.
• Review prescriptions and patient information carefully; consult when necessary.
• Demonstrate patience with customers and patients.
• Accurately operate the POS system and process payments.
• Explain "One Hour" processing and delivery times.
• Maintain store appearance and visual displays per guidelines.
• Ensure HIPAA-compliant handling of patient records.
