Job summary

LensCrafters, part of EssilorLuxottica, is hiring an EyeCare Advisor in Glendale to deliver the LensCrafters Experience. You will ensure the highest quality Optometric care and drive store performance by aligning brand storytelling with patient interactions.

Roles include greeting customers, explaining paperwork, assisting with frames and lenses, and supporting the doctor and retail teams. Benefits may include bonuses and employee discounts.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Strong customer service skills (internal and external).
• Knowledge of current fashion trends.
• Strong communicator and listener.
• Problem solving ability.
• Familiarity with cash register, computers and calculators.
• Sales skills.
• Strong basic math skills.
• Knowledge of office and store merchandise.

Responsibilities

• Greets customers quickly (within 30 seconds).
• Answers the telephone promptly (3 rings).
• Explains all required paperwork, tests, products and services.
• Reviews prescriptions and patient information carefully; consults with Optician/Management as needed.
• Maintains HIPAA-compliant patient records.
• Places contact lens orders and processes shipments.
