Job summary

Intuit, Inc. seeks a tax professional to help customers complete their federal and state returns using TurboTax products in a virtual setting.

You will guide customers through tax terminology, provide expert advice, and perform full-service return preparation with professional empathy and clear explanations. Ideal candidates have 2+ years of recent 1040 experience, PTIN, and the ability to work at least 20 hours weekly.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of recent experience preparing federal and state individual 1040 tax returns for at least 30 clients per season.
• Must possess or be able to obtain any related State licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds.
• Must possess an active PTIN.
• Working knowledge of Circular 230.
• Must be willing and available to work a minimum of 20 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Virtual, customer-facing role; interact with customers via video communications software.
• Provide tax advice and full service return preparation and signature.
• Answer product/software inquiries and assist with tax calculations.
• Document customer interactions and meet KPI metrics.
