Job summary

Intuit, Inc. is seeking a remote tax preparation specialist to assist TurboTax customers in completing federal and state returns. You will provide expert guidance, handle full-service preparation, and explain tax terminology using clear everyday language.

The role emphasizes high-quality customer interactions, efficient problem solving, and adherence to training and compliance requirements while meeting KPI targets. Must reside in the United States and have PTIN.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of federal/state 1040 prep for at least 30 clients per season.
• Must possess or obtain state licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds.
• Active PTIN required or ability to obtain one.
• Working knowledge of Circular 230.
• Willing to work minimum 20 hours per week.
• Strong tech proficiency and customer service mindset.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must reside in the United States.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist Tax TurboTax customers via virtual video interactions.
• Provide tax advice, full service return preparation and signatures.
• Answer product questions and explain tax/technical terms clearly.
• Document customer interactions and service outcomes.
• Meet KPI targets and participate in pilot projects as needed.
• Complete required training and compliance programs.
