A-Line Staffing Solutions LLC is hiring a Virtual Patient Services Coordinator for Texas residents only. This remote contract role supports a healthcare organization with a 4‑month assignment and potential extension based on attendance and performance. Schedule is Mon–Fri, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM.

Responsibilities include calling patients before telehealth visits, virtual check-ins, collecting co-pays, testing access, and updating patient data in the EHR, while maintaining HIPAA and high-quality service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 18+ months of front medical office or receptionist experience with insurance forms and scheduling software.
• Proficient with computers and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Able to work remotely with stable job history in a medical office setting.
• Familiar with EHR/EMR systems.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Call patients 15–20 minutes prior to scheduled telehealth appointments to help prepare.
• Complete virtual check-in and notify the care team when the patient is ready.
• Collect co-pays and outstanding balances following process.
• Test the telehealth link, camera, and audio; troubleshoot basic access issues.
• Verify/update demographics, insurance, and contact information in the system.
• Support scheduling workflows for future virtual visits and follow-ups.
• Manage work queues, chart messages, scanning/filing, and other front-office tasks.
• Provide professional, patient-centered customer service with empathy and clear communication.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and follow established quality/service standards.

A-Line Staffing is now hiring a Virtual Patient Services Coordinator (Texas residents only)! Virtual Patient Services Coordinator Highlights

The pay for this position is $18.00-$20.00 per hour.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (1-hour lunch)

Remote position (must be located in Texas)

This position is a Temporary / Contract role

Projected assignment length: 4 months

Responsibilities

• Call patients 15–20 minutes prior to their scheduled telehealth appointments to help them prepare
• Complete virtual check-in and notify the care team / Medical Assistant when the patient is ready
• Collect co-pays and outstanding balances following process
• Test the telehealth link, camera, and audio; troubleshoot basic access issues and escalate as needed
• Verify/update demographics, insurance, and contact information in the system
• Support scheduling workflows as ordered (future virtual visits and follow-ups as applicable)
• Manage work queues, chart messages, scanning/filing, and other front-office administrative tasks
• Provide professional, patient-centered customer service with empathy, patience, and strong communication
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and follow established quality/service standards

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 18 months of front medical office or receptionist experience involving insurance forms and scheduling software
• Proficient with computers and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• Able to work remotely and demonstrate stable job history in a medical office setting
• Familiar with EHR/EMR systems
• Strong customer service skills and excellent verbal/written communication
• Technically savvy and comfortable supporting patients with telehealth readiness
• Preferred: Experience with EMR/telemedicine platforms, call-center workflows, or oncology operations
• Availability to work the set schedule (Mon–Fri 8a–5p)
• Any scheduling experience (helpful for growth opportunities)
