Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients, families, and visitors in a prompt, courteous, and empathetic manner
• Assist patients/families with directions, check-in, and general needs during the cancer center grand opening
• Register patients and schedule appointments efficiently and accurately
• Answer, screen, and direct incoming calls; relay messages to appropriate personnel
• Provide administrative support (filing charts/forms), maintain an orderly lobby, and ensure forms/supplies are stocked
• Maintain confidentiality and follow HIPAA/state/federal guidelines regarding patient records

Patient Service Coordinator Highlights

The pay for this position is $17.00 - $21.00 per hour.

Schedule: Full-time (40 hours/week) - standard daytime hours (on-site)

Onsite position (Plano, TX 75093)

This position is a Temporary assignment.

Anticipated end date: February 2027

Responsibilities

• Professionally greet and welcome patients, families, and visitors in a prompt, courteous, and empathetic manner


• Assist patients/families with directions, check-in, and general needs during the cancer center grand opening


• Register patients and schedule appointments efficiently and accurately

Requirements

Preferred

• medical office experience OR recent schooling/training in a medical program (ex: CMA, Medical Office Specialist)
