Job summary

Ucardia is seeking a remote, contract-based Health Coach to deliver live video coaching and asynchronous support focused on cardiovascular and metabolic health. You will interpret wearable data, adapt plans in real time, and help members achieve SMART goals with compassionate accountability.

The role requires NBC-HWC credential (or in progress), 1+ year of virtual coaching, and availability for evenings/weekends. Compensation is hourly with independent-contractor terms.

Qualifications

• NBC-HWC credential (or exam-enrolled) is required.
• Fitness or nutrition certification (CPT, ACE, NASM, ACSM) or equivalent.
• Minimum one year of virtual coaching with video + async messaging.
• Ability to manage a caseload with proactive engagement.
• Proficiency in interpreting HR/HRV, steps, sleep, and device data.
• Evening and weekend availability; some daytime blocks.
• Comfort in fast-moving startup environments.
• High empathy paired with structured accountability.

Responsibilities

• Lead one-on-one live video coaching sessions blending behavior change with movement, sleep, and nutrition support.
• Maintain proactive asynchronous messaging with structured, timely nudges.
• Build personal, scalable member relationships across channels.
• Interpret wearable signals and translate into personalized coaching insights.
• Co-create SMART plans and adapt them based on real-time data.
• Demonstrate movements on camera and correct form with modifications as needed.
• Identify red flags and triage to clinicians when required.
• Share insights with product/content teams to improve flows and nudges.
• Keep concise notes and track key outcomes for dashboards.
