Job summary

Ucardia, Inc. is seeking a virtual health coach to join our mission of extending healthspan through tech-enabled coaching. You will run live video sessions, guide clients on movement, nutrition, and stress, and interpret wearable data to tailor plans.

In this contractor role, you’ll manage a diverse caseload, respond to messages promptly, and collaborate with product and support teams to improve coaching flows. Evening/weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

• Professional coaching credential: NBC-HWC (or exam-enrolled).
• Fitness or nutrition certification: CPT (ACE, NASM, ACSM) or equivalent.
• At least one year of virtual coaching experience with live video + async messaging.
• Able to manage a caseload and stay proactively engaged.
• Comfort interpreting HR, HRV, steps, sleep, and other device data.
• Evening/weekend availability; daytime blocks as needed.
• High empathy with structured accountability.
• Experience in fast-moving startup environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead one-on-one live video coaching sessions blending behavior change with movement, sleep, and nutrition support.
• Maintain proactive asynchronous messaging with timely nudges and clear action steps.
• Build personal, scalable member relationships across channels.
• Interpret wearable signals and translate into personalized coaching insights.
• Co-create SMART plans and update them with real-time data.
• Demonstrate movements on camera and offer safe modifications.
• Escalate clinical concerns per triage protocols.
• Share patterns with product and operations teams to improve flows.
• Keep concise notes and track outcomes for dashboards.
