Job summary

Ucardia, Inc. is seeking a remote, contract-based health coach to deliver live video coaching and proactive asynchronous support. You will interpret wearable data to customize plans, adjust strategies in real time, and maintain high engagement with a diverse member base.

The role emphasizes empathy, accountability, and the ability to thrive in a fast-moving startup. You will operate through our Coach Portal and integrate with Apple Health and Fitbit data while coordinating with clinical partners

Qualifications

NBC-HWC credential or exam-enrolled status.
CPT certification (ACE, NASM, ACSM) or equivalent.
At least 1 year of virtual coaching with live video + async messaging.
Ability to manage a caseload and maintain proactive engagement.
Comfort interpreting HR, HRV, steps, sleep and device data.
Evening/weekend availability; select daytime blocks.
High empathy paired with structured accountability.
Experience in fast-moving startup environments.

Responsibilities

Lead one-on-one video coaching sessions blending behavior change with movement, sleep, stress, and nutrition support.
Maintain structured, proactive in-app messaging; send timely nudges.
Build relationships that feel personal and scalable; adapt to each member’s style.
Interpret wearable signals and translate into personalized coaching insights.
Co-create SMART plans; update plans based on real-time data and feedback.
Demonstrate movements on camera and correct form with modifications as needed.
Identify red flags and route to clinicians or exercise specialists.
Share patterns and insights with product, content, and ops teams to improve flows.
