Job summary

Ucardia, Inc. is seeking a 1099 contractor-style health coach to deliver live video coaching and async messaging to members, using wearable data and behavior science to guide personalized plans for cardiovascular and metabolic health.

You will interpret HR, HRV, and other device data, co-create SMART plans, demonstrate movements on camera, and escalate clinical concerns when needed. This role requires flexible evenings/weekends, empathy, and comfort in a fast-moving startup environment.

Qualifications

• NBC-HWC credential or exam-enrolled.
• CPT certification (ACE, NASM, ACSM) or equivalent.
• At least one year of virtual coaching with live video + async messaging.
• Ability to manage a caseload and maintain proactive engagement.
• Comfort interpreting HR, HRV, steps, sleep, and other device data.
• Evening and weekend availability, plus select daytime blocks.
• High empathy paired with structured accountability.
• Comfort with fast-moving, evolving startup environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead one-on-one live video coaching sessions.
• Maintain structured, proactive asynchronous messaging with members.
• Foster engaging member relationships across video, text, and voice notes.
• Interpret wearable/biometric signals to tailor coaching insights.
• Co-create SMART plans and adapt them based on real-time data.
• Demonstrate movements on camera and provide form corrections.
• Escalate clinical issues to clinicians when needed.
• Share patterns with product/content/ops teams to improve flows.
