Job summary

Ucardia, Inc. seeks a qualified health coach to deliver live video coaching and asynchronous guidance, using wearable data to tailor plans for cardiovascular and metabolic health. You will engage members through video sessions, chat, and voice notes, coordinating with a growth-focused startup team.

Ideal candidates have NBC-HWC or equivalent certification, 1+ year of virtual coaching, and comfort with data interpretation. This contract role offers a 1099 arrangement and hourly compensation.

Qualifications

• Professional coaching credential: NBC-HWC (or exam-enrolled)
• Fitness or nutrition certification: CPT (ACE, NASM, ACSM) or equivalent
• At least one year of virtual coaching experience with live video + async messaging
• Skill in managing a caseload and maintaining proactive engagement
• Comfort interpreting HR, HRV, steps, sleep, and other device data
• Evening and weekend availability, plus select daytime blocks
• High empathy paired with structured accountability
• Comfort with fast-moving, evolving startup environments

Responsibilities

• Lead one-on-one video coaching sessions that blend behavior change guidance with practical movement, stress, sleep, and nutrition support.
• Maintain structured, proactive communication via in-app messaging and send timely nudges based on device alerts, plateaus, or meaningful trends.
• Build relationships that feel personal and supportive—even at scale using video, text, and voice notes.
• Interpret wearable and biometric signals (HR, HRV, steps, sleep, BP) into personalized coaching insights.
• Co-create fitness, nutrition, stress, and sleep strategies rooted in SMART goals with real-time data.
• Demonstrate movements live on camera and offer modifications for injury or time constraints.
• Identify red flags and route members to clinicians through triage protocols.
• Share patterns with product, content, and operations teams to refine templates and flows.
• Keep thoughtful notes and track key outcomes for dashboards and product direction
