Job summary

Career Team LLC in Denton, TX is hiring a Follow-Up Specialist to provide professional follow-up services to individuals previously served by the Funding Source and Location. This role supports retention, referrals, and re-employment efforts, with data entry into the state program management system under the Center Manager.

You will conduct virtual follow-up, engage clients in a job-search plan, document outcomes, and meet program benchmarks while collaborating with trainers and case managers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to establish and maintain a positive, productive virtual relationship with former job seekers and employers.
• Ability to work in diverse settings with culturally sensitive approaches.
• Strong organizational skills to juggle multiple tasks in a performance‑oriented environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Provide virtual follow‑up services to designated former participants to ensure employment success and retention.
• Engage unemployed follow‑up customers in a job search plan/activities to obtain immediate employment.
• Engage customers at risk of job loss in retention and employment search activities.
• Provide referrals to support customer retention needs.
• Document follow‑up activities and efforts in state program management system.
• Enter post‑program employment and educational information into the state’s system.
• Meet and/or exceed program benchmarks and participate in required staff events.
