Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; associates degree or equivalent cert preferred.
• Understanding of daily workforce center operations.
• Experience with interviewing and employment counseling is preferred.
• Experience solving employment-related problems is a plus.
• Familiarity with public employment and training programs.
• Awareness of needs of disadvantaged individuals and barriers to employment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain monthly follow-up with customers for 12 months post-employment to assess status and satisfaction.
• Monitor progress and provide follow-up services to support job placement.
• Coordinate with training providers and employers for credentials and placement info.
• Create and run reports to track retention, earnings, credentials, and employment.
• Navigate systems to locate client wages and update records.
• Identify training opportunities to advance employees in their current roles.
• Assist customers with networking and referrals to community resources.
• Document all follow-ups and outcomes in WorkInTexas and related databases.
• Conduct performance outreach addressed by WIOA requirements.
• Prepare follow-up reports for leadership and stakeholders.
