Career Team is seeking a Follow-Up Specialist to provide professional follow-up services to individuals previously served by the Funding Source and Location. This role includes retention services, referrals, career ladder counseling, re-employment job search services, and documentation in the state’s program management system.

The position operates under the Center Manager. The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree or higher and demonstrates strong verbal and written communication,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher required or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to establish and maintain positive virtual relationships with former job seeker customers and employers.
• Strong organizational skills to juggle multiple tasks in a performance-oriented environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Valid Driver’s License required.

Responsibilities

• Provide virtual follow-up services to designated former participants to ensure employment success and retention.
• Engage customers in a job search plan and activities to obtain immediate employment.
• Provide referrals to support retention needs and re-engage non-responsive customers.
• Document follow-up activities in the state’s case management system.
• Enter post-program employment and education information into the case management system.
