Perplexity AI seeks a Virtual Events Manager to build and operate a high-impact virtual events program. You will host, curate experts, and demonstrate our products live to educate audiences and convert them into active users and qualified pipeline.

You’ll partner with Growth and Marketing to drive registrations, measure ROI, and optimize event formats for scale in a fast-growing tech environment.

Qualifications

• Analytical rigor with channel metrics and ROI calculations.
• 3+ years of experience in virtual events or related roles.
• Strong on-camera presence for hosting, interviewing, and presenting.
• Cross-functional coordination with product, engineering, sales, and marketing.
• Ability to learn technical products quickly and translate into live demos.
• High adaptability in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
• Excellent production judgment, including rehearsals and live moderation.

Responsibilities

• Build and run the virtual events channel from strategy to retros.
• Recruit and prep subject-matter experts for sessions.
• Collaborate with Growth to drive registrations and attendance.
• Host, moderate, and demonstrate products live with clarity.
• Measure outcomes and ROI, track KPIs, and optimize pipeline.
• Create reusable formats, templates, and onboarding programs.
