Job summary

Perplexity is seeking a Virtual Events Manager to build a world-class virtual events engine. You will host, produce, and measure live experiences that showcase our products and convert audiences into active users and qualified pipeline.

You will own end-to-end programs, recruit experts, partner with Growth, and optimize for ROI. The role blends acting as a charismatic host with operational excellence to deliver scalable events.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and executing virtual events across platforms.
• Ability to translate product capabilities into live demonstrations.
• Track record of driving engagement and activation through events.
• Proven ability to collaborate with product, marketing, and sales teams.
• Strong storytelling and on-camera presence for professional audiences.
• Experience measuring event ROI and pipeline impact.
• Familiarity with CRM and marketing automation tools.
• Skilled at speaker recruiting, coaching, and program logistics.

Responsibilities

• Own virtual events end-to-end from concept to post-event follow-up.
• Host, moderate, present, and demonstrate the product live with energy.
• Staff speakers, rehearsals, and live production for each program.
• Collaborate with Product, Eng, Research, Sales, and Marketing to source experts.
• Plan audience growth and full-funnel promotion; optimize registrations.
• Extend value with recordings, snippets, FAQs, and sales follow-up.
• Instrument funnel metrics: registrations, attendance, pipeline, ROI.
• Create scalable operating systems for calendar, briefs, and templates.
