Job summary

Stellar Virtual in the United States is seeking an English Learner (EL) Teacher for grades 6-12 to deliver direct English language development instruction in a fully virtual, multi-state program. You will assess progress, collaborate with teachers, and maintain documentation to meet federal and state EL requirements.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) and a Tennessee ESL endorsement (or EL endorsement) with willingness to obtain additional certifications as needed.

Qualifications

• Two years of EL/ESL instruction experience, preferably for grades 6-12.
• Knowledge of EL identification, assessment, and compliance requirements.
• Experience with language development best practices and data-informed instruction.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct ELD to EL students in grades 6-12 via live virtual instruction.
• Differentiate instruction to support language goals and proficiency levels.
• Administer and interpret language proficiency assessments (ELPA21).
• Maintain accurate program documentation and progress data.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and administrators to support student success.
