Connections Academy’s Tennessee program is seeking an ELL Specialist to remotely teach and manage ILPs for grades 4-12. The role involves virtual instruction, coordinating with learning coaches, and ensuring compliance with federal and state ELL requirements.

Responsibilities include screening students, scheduling WIDA testing, reporting to DOE, and collaborating with district staff. Residency in Tennessee is required; travel may be occasional for testing events.

Competenze

• Degree in ELL (K-12) or equivalent certification is required.
• Strong technology skills and experience with Google/Microsoft Office products.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.

Mansioni

• Manage instructional programs for ELL students remotely.
• Develop, write and help implement ILPs; schedule WIDA testing.
• Collaborate with teachers and district staff to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Communicate regularly with parents/learning coaches of students with special needs.
• Maintain accurate ILP documentation and reporting to state DOE.
• Deliver virtual instruction via web conferencing and other tools.
