Connections-Education-4 is seeking a qualified ESL/TESOL-certified teacher to work from home in Ohio. You will support English Learners through synchronous lessons, assessments, and collaboration with families and other teachers to advance student progress.

The role emphasizes administering WIDA exams, supporting state testing, and developing personalized learning plans while maintaining regular parent communication and documentation.

Qualifications

• Certified to teach ESL/TESOL in Ohio.
• Experience directly teaching ELL students.
• Strong technology skills with Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Organize, administer, and score WIDA Screener and WIDA ACCESS annually.
• Assist in state testing administration (SOL, VALLSS, benchmarks, WorkKeys, WI$E).
• Attend local/state professional development trainings related to Title III compliance.
• Complete grading, create progress reports and conduct parent conferences.
• Deliver synchronous English Learner lessons and group students by proficiency.
