Job summary

Stellar Virtual in the United States seeks an English Learner (EL) Teacher (6-12) to deliver direct ELD instruction in a multi-state virtual setting. You will partner with students, families, teachers, and school leaders to promote language development, academic success, and compliance with federal and state EL requirements through engaging remote instruction.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required; Master's in TESOL/ESL preferred.
US ESL teaching certification/licensure in at least one listed state (Oregon, Washington, Missouri, or Tennessee) or willing to obtain.
Minimum two years of EL/ESL service experience, preferably with grades 6–12.
Strong understanding of language development and assessment administration.

Responsibilities

Deliver ELD instruction to grades 6–12 via live virtual sessions and small groups.
Administer EL proficiency assessments such as ELPA21 per requirements.
Monitor student progress and adjust instruction based on data.
Maintain accurate documentation of services and assessment results.
Communicate with families regarding progress and language development.
Collaborate with teachers and administrators to support language supports.
