Job summary

The CAMP program seeks an AVI Fellow to support Alabama Virtual Institute (AVI) sessions. You will manage Zoom sessions, assist instructors, and handle attendance and feedback forms while keeping students engaged.

This part-time/seasonal role blends instructional and administrative duties in a virtual/on-site setting, requiring punctuality, professionalism, and comfort with tech tools to ensure a smooth learning experience for diverse learners.

Qualifications

• Strong technical skills and comfort navigating Zoom and other digital tools.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced virtual learning environment.
• Prior experience in education, tutoring, or youth programs preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Open and prepare Zoom sessions promptly, ensuring music is playing as students arrive.
• Assist the teacher with screen sharing, file sharing, and other technical needs during instruction.
• Record sessions as directed; pause or stop recording to comply with copyright requirements.
• Complete the Site Attendance Form accurately each day.
• Submit a Daily Feedback Form to capture observations, technology notes, and student engagement.
• Maintain a positive, interactive presence throughout sessions and encourage participation.
