Job summary

Clark-Pleasant Community School Corp. is seeking an individual to support the Transition Program as an instructional assistant in the Virtual Lab. The role supports students in recovering credits and monitors progress during class periods.

Responsibilities include logging on to APEX, generating weekly reports for teachers, and conferencing with students weekly. The position is hourly, non-exempt, with a 183-day calendar under the Classified Pay Model.

Qualifications

• The candidate should have experience working with students with special needs.
• A valid teacher's license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor individual student progress during each class period and ensure they are logged on to APEX and on task.
• Move around the room to support administrative functions on APEX and verify student engagement.
• Create and file weekly Teacher of Record (ToR) folders with reports for each student and deliver to the ToR mailbox daily.
• Generate weekly progress reports for guidance/administration and flag students not progressing.
• Conference with each student weekly regarding progress in APEX and record date/time.
