Job summary

CVS Health’s MinuteClinic Virtual Care Nurse Practitioner role delivers patient care through a remote technology platform. The provider works with a dedicated team to independently assess, diagnose, treat, and manage care for patients aged 18 months and older.

The position is a 6-month PRN contract with availability 20+ hours per week, including some weekends. A current, unrestricted NP license is required, with willingness to obtain additional licensure as needed.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted licensure in any US state.
• Minimum of two years of medically-relevant experience.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
• Proficient in EHR and health IT systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic, evidence-based care via remote platform.
• Assess, diagnose, treat, and manage health problems.
• Counsel on pregnancy prevention and STI prevention.
• Educate patients and respond to inquiries.
• Document care in EHR per policies.
• Coordinate with care team to ensure high-quality care.
• Work with providers, physicians, pharmacists as needed.
• Work independently and prioritize tasks.
