Job summary

The University of California - Los Angeles Health is seeking a patient service liaison to support physicians and Virtual Immediate Care patients. You will coordinate scheduling, verify insurance, and facilitate referrals within the health system.

This role requires excellent communication, ability to handle patient inquiries by phone and video, and experience with Epic or similar EHR. You will work in a virtual care environment and help connect patients to resources.

Qualifications

• Skill in setting priorities which accurately reflect the relative importance of job responsibilities.
• Skill in managing patient inquiries by phone and video and assisting with patient technology challenges where needed.
• Ability to establish and maintain productive working relationships with Physicians, Staff, Administration and patients from various social, cultural and economic backgrounds.
• Ability to creatively integrate competing demands into a productive working environment.
• Skill in verbal communications to clearly convey complex problems in both formal and informal situations.
• Ability to interact diplomatically and sympathetically with a patient population in varying degrees of health.
• Ability to facilitate physician scheduling and patient prioritization in virtual environment.
• Minimum 2 years' experience with Epic or comparable Electronic Health Record

Responsibilities

• Acting as a liaison for patients and physicians.
