Job summary

Syneos Health is seeking a Dir, Epidemiology Pipeline (TA - Virology) to lead scientific oversight and strategic development of virology epidemiology programs. You will collaborate with RWLP management, operations and business development to shape proposals and deliver high-impact project outcomes.

The role emphasizes leadership, advanced study-design expertise, and ability to translate epidemiology insights into global business opportunities while ensuring timelines, budgets and quality

Qualifications

• SME in Virology Clinical Trials.
• Requires graduate degree in Epidemiology, Statistics, or Public Health; (Masters; Preferred Doctorate).
• Requires knowledge of a variety of study designs; familiarity with post-marketing and late-phase designs; guidelines preferred.
• Requires basic knowledge of SAS, R, Python.
• Excellent communication, presentation, both written and spoken.
• Strong interpersonal and team-oriented skills; Demonstrated leadership.

Responsibilities

• Serve as scientific resource for RWLP management and company leadership across functions.
• Lead development and delivery of proposals, bid defenses, and capability presentations.
• Provide scientific oversight for projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, quality and satisfaction.
• Coordinate with PM to oversee study start-up and ongoing management; develop and peer-review key documents.
• Train RWLP/Company on epidemiologic study designs and guidelines.
• Develop organizational capacity and improve processes for non-traditional site management and RWLP SOPs.
• Collaborate across the organization to develop post-marketing safety and risk management opportunities.
• Foster relationships with sponsors, thought-leaders and investigators.
• Develop abstracts, presentations, and manuscripts to promote services.
