Job summary

Syneos Health is seeking a Dir, Epidemiology Pipeline (TA - Virology) to oversee scientific strategy and execution for Virology clinical programs. You will collaborate with RWLP management, business development, and operations to win opportunities and ensure high-quality deliverables.

The role requires a graduate degree in epidemiology or related field, strong leadership, and experience with diverse study designs and statistical tools. A rigorous, cross-functional environment awaits.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree in Epidemiology, Statistics, or Public Health; Masters preferred; Doctorate acceptable.
• In-depth knowledge of diverse study designs; familiarity with post-marketing and late-phase designs.
• Basic knowledge of statistical programming languages (SAS, R, Python).
• Excellent communication and presentation skills; strong teamwork and leadership.
• Demonstrated leadership and technical skills.

Responsibilities

• SME in Virology Clinical Trials for RWLP management and company senior leadership.
• Lead development and delivery of project proposals, bid defenses, and capability presentations.
• Provide scientific oversight to meet timelines, budgets, quality, and satisfaction.
• Coordinate with project manager on study start-up and ongoing management; develop key documents.
• Facilitate advisory boards and produce scientific reports, manuscripts, abstracts, and presentations.
• Develop trainings on epidemiologic designs and regulatory guidelines for RWLP/Company.
